Full Description
A national school and institute designed in 1890 by W.H. Higginbottom and completed in 1892. The site was provided by Charles Seely Esq. A plain building, the only decorative interest provided by 3 dedication plaques. Windows largely original. Rainwater goods largely plastic. Covered playground altered to forma store. This is joined to the boiler house with ornate hinged doors. Original internal partitions and doors survive. (NCC School Survey 2004)(1)
Brick-built on an irregular C-plan with infill ranges to the front elevation. Slate roofs. Now the Parish Council rooms. (2)
