Full Description
A plain brick building constructed in 1890. There are stone window surrounds with mullions and transoms, but the windows are uPVC casements. The rainwater goods and roof coverings are also modern. The interior retains sliding partitions and standard glazed tiles, original floors, and some original doors. Foundation stone laid by the Duke of Portland, was originally outside but is now inside the toilet extension. (NCC Schools Survey 2004) (1)
Brick-built school with stone dressings. Linear range with two projecting gables ranges, each with 3 vertical windows with stone mullions and transoms. Entrance door with huge overlight. Slate roofs. (2)
