Full Description

A total of 20 finds were recovered from Area 2. These included copper alloy (CA) coins, sheet and vessel fragments, buckles and buttons. A small amount of white metal objects and a pewter/silver object were also recovered, as well as lead objects including a conical lead weight with iron suspension loop.

A total of sixteen finds were recovered from Area 3. These included CA buttons, a coin, a possible bell fragment and a possible finger ring. A small number of white metal objects were also recovered, as well as chert piece that appears to be worked.

A total of seventeen finds were recovered from Area 7. These included CA buttons and coins, a possible trigger guard fragment, a possible strap end, and a buckle. Two lead weights and a lead musket ball were also recovered.

A total of nine finds were recovered from Area 8. These included CA buttons and a coin, a mount and a decorative object, and two suspension loops/rings.

A total of thirteen finds were recovered from Area 9. These included CA coins, a buckle and a button. Lead objects comprising two tokens and two musket balls were also recovered.

A CA coin and a lead musket ball were recovered from Area 10.

A single find, a lead pistol ball, was recovered from Area 12.

A single find, a CA nail, was recovered from Area 13.

A total of seven finds were recovered from Area 14. These included CA coins, a pierced disc and a socket key. A partly melted lead object was also recovered.

A total of three finds were recovered from Area 17, comprising CA coins.

A total of twelve finds were recovered from Area 18. These included CA coins, a buckle a decorative object. disc and a socket key. Two lead musket balls, and a flint piece that appears to be worked, were also recovered.
