One evaluation trench contained two parallel undated ditches.

Three further evaluation trenches contained a series of small ditches, which in the last of these evaluation trenches produced a small piece of plastic within the ditch. This ditch appeared to form part of an old field boundary.

Further to the south, two evaluation trenches produced parallel ditches that lined up with the historic field boundaries. Both of these ditches were excavated in one of these trenches. Within that trench, one ditch produced a small piece of plastic and no finds came from the other ditch.
