Full Description

A stone and brick drain approximately 0.46m wide running south-west/north-east. The drain is constructed with three courses of unfrogged red brick (length: 220mm, width: 110mm, thickness: 70mm) laid in one row lying flat in a stretcher bond, with a base and top constructed of squared stones (unmeasured). Mortar used in the construction of the drain appears to be lime-based.The construction cut is filled with compact green clay.
