Full Description

A linear feature was recorded as part of the watching brief. It was clearly visible in plan but was extremely small in section, and was highly disturbed by root action. The feature likely represents a former field boundary and was filled with a deposit of yellow and red sand mixed with patches of topsoil.

A single sherd of Romano-British pottery was recovered from the fill.

This feature did not correlate with any cropmark data although it does correlate with a trend present on the geophysics interpreted as ploughing.
