Full Description
Red brick in Flemish bond. 3-storey projection to front elevation has Dutch gable (stone coping) with flanking brick and stone piers topped with moulded stone and ball finials. The projection also has stone band between the ground and first floor. Window openings have rubbed brick headers with central stone key stones. Hipped roof with plain tiles. Detached outbuilding to the west also has hipped roof with plain tiles. Contemporary with the house and built in the same brick also in Flemish bond. Gabled dormer to the west. Both entrances have brick piers with moulded stone caps with ball finials. (1)
Constructed in the early 20th century with a contemporary outbuilding. Historically the property would have been the Vicarage for the Church of St Michael the Archangel and historic maps show that the current gardens within the grounds would have been open ground, under the ownership of the Church of St Michael the Archangel.
