Full Description

A Board School built in 1877-78. A Gothic brick-built building with a low level of decoration provided by a stone plinth, bargeboards and yellow brick banding. There is also a carved datestone above the west gable. The windows are wooden glazing bar casements set beneath stone lintels. The master’s house adjoins to the east, there is also an outbuilding that was probably an outside toilet. INTERNALLY partitions and fireplaces have been removed. The original roof structure survives; there is also a brick dado rail. (1)
