Full Description

The front range to High Street is built of coursed local limestone with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The rear range, facing a courtyard, is rendered and partly limewashed, with ashlar dressings and a clay pantile roof. The elevation to High Street is almost entirely occupied by a good quality traditional shopfront. The return elevation has a single small casement in a chamfered surround. The elevation facing the courtyard contains a C17 chamfered mullioned window and, to its right, a nineteenth century horizontally sliding sash. Various modern additions largely obscure the ground floor. The rear elevation features various C18 plain mullioned windows. Added to Mansfield District Council's Local List on 11.08.2005. (1)
