Full Description

Main building 2-storeys, ground floor brown glazed brick with larger green glazed detailing and plinth. Windows are canted topped plain wooden pull down top opening casements. Double doors are five panelled wooden, with cantered overlight. Wooden box fascia separates ground from first where advertisement appears. First floor is red brick with stone detailing to windows, part gable, stepped out large various sized chimneys with brick detailing, windows are straight 8/8 wooden side opening casements in various sizes, metal stone mullioned single glazed casements and stone mullion/transom single 6 paned. Rear is staggered gabled with straight topped and cantered brick arched single paned wooden sash windows. Later C20 extension to rear and Midworth Steet is 2storey red brick with continuous straight sandstone detailing above lintels and carved sandstone cills, stepped chimney with brick detailing. Guttering is cast and plastic, downpipes are cast. Added to MDC Local List on 01/12/2008 (1)
