Full Description
Built in 1851 and was designed by W J Chapman of Pleasley Mills and built by Benjamin Linfoot. It was used as a chapel until 1913 then became the Mansfield Salvation Army Citadel. By the 1920’s it had become the co-op society’s Education Department. Stone property, gable end building. It was during this time that the timbers were applied to the front. A typical co-op addition to their buildings. It was empty for an extended period before becoming a restaurant. (1)
