Full Description

Brick built school with stone embellishment. Multiple bays of narrow sashes. Main entrance is set back on the corner with a stone classical door case with ‘High Oakham School’ inscribed within the arched pediment, above a large 7x5 pane casement window and a gable. The building is built on an almost arrowhead plan, behind the main façade a wing runs back perpendicular as well as two others at either end at angles. Ventilated as an Open Air School. (1)

OS M<aps show theschool was built at some time between 1923 and 1951. (2)
