Full Description
2-storey and attic brick with stone detail building, slate roof with wide gabled dormer with stepped buttresses to stone finials stepped brick eaves leading to ridge finial, set of 3 windows with stone mullions, stone surround central semi-circular overlight and straight stepped hood moulding. Windows 1/1 sashes. (1)
Moulded stone shopfront piers with metal capitals and detailing with '1880' date on righthand pier ('AD' on the lefthand pier). Decorative corbelled, stone and brick eaves with central stone incised with 'WHITE HART CHAMBERS'. Decorative stone surrounds and lintels to the four first floor window opening in which the frames are shaped to fit. Garret window is mullioned with a fanlight over and stepped hoodmould. Gable to the garret dormer is coped and has kneelers. Shopfront has 2 cylindrical moulded piers. Panelled door to No.16 has 6 square lights and metal studded door plate. (2)
