Full Description

Former Ashfield House is at the centre of the college site. Georgian stone-built (ashlar) 2-storey house under a hipped slate roof. Five 6-over-6 sash windows to the upper floor and 2 6-over-6 sashes either side of the central door. External chimney stack to the north end which has 3 6-over-6 sashes and 1 8 over 8 sash. Bow window to the south end. Attached square range to the NE corner, also ashlar under a hipped slate roof. Now part of West Notts College (see MNT28771). (1)

Appears on Sanderson's maps of 1835 and annotated as Ashfield House on later OS maps. (2) (3)
