Full Description

5 single storey buildings appearing as two sets of pivotal semi's connected by roof height stone wall to central detached almshouse, built in a triangular plan form. Buildings are constructed from stone with hipped slate roof, central chimney, stone projecting canopy to door, door timber vertical panelled with decorative glass top panels, with windows being timber 1/2 hexagon bays. To the front of the properties there is a low stone wall with flat copings, with hedge above, these connect to a central stone where the date of construction and name of almshouses appears. Added to MDC Local List on 01.12.2008. (1)
