Full Description

Sutton-in-Ashfield swimming pool opened in the late 19th or early 20th Century, on the site of the former sewage works. It closed by the middle of the 20th Century. (1) From historic map layers and personal knowledge of Phil Carlisle, Esq (2)

(Sewage works can be seen on OS Six Inch, 1888-1915 at the NGR)
