Winding Engine House Number 2 Shaft Silverhill Colliery

Built in late C19 or early C20, probably by the Stanton Iron Works Company and originally housed a horizontal steam winding engine. In 1950s the steam winding engine was replaced with an electric winder and the building was extended.
