(SK 5136: centred on name) Chilwell, Notts. Rapier with trapezoidal butt, 44cm. long. No. 329. (1) (2)

Group I: Type Methwold. Rapier with trapezoidal butt having two rivet-holes with one plug-rivet; grooved omega hilt-mark; very worn black and dull golden brown patina much pitted towards the point of one side, gold where rubbed. L: 44cm, W: 5.7cm. Mus -Birmingham (30. 66). - Rowlands, Metalworking 416 No.1873 (2)
