Full Description
A secular college, at Ruddington, was founded in 1459 for a warden and four chaplains. In 1535 its net income was £30. It was dissolved after 1546. (1) (2)
In 1459 William Babington founded a college of Chantry Priests at Flawford and Chilwell, which continued until the end of the 15th century. From that time onwards Flawford church was neglected and used only for burials. (3)
This College apparently formed a unit of the original St Peter's Church (4)
