Full Description

SK 5361 - SK 5667. Leeming Lane Roman Road. (1)

A straight piece of road between Mansfield and Warsop, supposed to be the only remaining piece of the likely Roman route between Little Chester and Bawtry. The only evidence for this supposition is the nearness of the villa at Mansfield Woodhouse. (2)

A modern arterial road. No surface evidence of Roman origin. (3)
