Full Description
Fragmentary ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on air photographs, centred at SK 5767 6761. They are probably part of a more extensive field system, of Iron Age or Roman date, mapped to the north-east. (1) (2)
The cropmark remains of the fragmented rectilinear enclosures described by the previous authority were mapped from aerial photographs. These appear very similar and on the same alignemt to the field systems to the NE which previously mapped as part of the Nottinghamshire NMP project. (3) (4)
