Full Description

3 Pa flint flakes were found by Mr GF Turton in 1947-8 whilst siting foundation pits for electricity pylons, at Lodge Farm. They were found 4ft from the surface in chalky boulder clay. Several other more doubtful flakes have been found in the same locality, but are not regarded as of human workmanship. (1)
