AP shows cropmarks 1 mile E of Averham. Consists of 2 small rectangular enclosures and a linear feature. (1)
Pickering '70 shows a rectangular enclosure - could be a third enclosure, or one of those already recorded. At least 3 rectangular and one square enclosure. (2)
Both enclosures now under plough. There are no surveyable traces at either mark and extensive perambulation produced no archaeological finds. The topographical situation is flat with an all round open aspect some 10.0m above sea level and adjacent to the N flood plain of the Trent. (3)
