Full Description

Part of polished greenstone axe found by H Kent of N Muskham. The sides are polished and the butt is missing. Now in the possession of MW Barley, Old Hall, N Muskham. (1)
2 broken stone axeheads, from approx above grid ref. (2)
The axehead fragment, found in 1951, was presented to NWM (25-55) by Prof Barley. Mr Kent indicated the findspot at SK 7906 5877. (3)
2 axes of group VI fine (Nos 171,172, NT 8,9). (4)
