Full Description

4 sherds of coarse pottery were found in a field to the W of Hockerwood Farm service road, Southwell, at above grid ref. (Grid ref plots to the E of the service road). (1)
Indicated site agreed by Mr D March; the pottery was picked up in 1964 and is now in NUM classified as "probably late C3". The field is now under lettuce crop and only usual field debris was visible when perambulated. (A new service road has been constructed; textual description and NGR both correct). (2)
