Full Description

A fragment of a polished axehead found in a garden in Hawthorpe Crescent, at SK 773520 (this grid ref appears to be wrong). Now in NWM. (1)
The implement was presented by Mr T Quale, 3 Hawthorne Crescent. (2)
Mr Quail (correct spelling) is very aged but recollects the accurate site of the find at above grid ref in "1964 or thereabouts". (3)
