Full Description
In the bank of the River Trent after floods (--/03/1958) just N of disused windmill on river bank off Farndon Road. Ro pottery sherds, all coarse grey wares (NWM). (1)
The related find spots were visited with negative results. (2)
Sherds, mostly dark grey ware. Storage vessel, light grey, C2 (found 7ft below ground level). (3) See L3116, L3022, L8396 for finds nearby, may be related.
