Full Description

Polished flint axehead (Neo) found 1939. Now in NWM. Above grid ref. (1)
Found whilst trenching for high tension pylons on the E of the Fosse Way. Purchased of G Harris (no address). (2)
The pylons nearest to the indicated findspot have been surveyed at SK 76812 51021. G Harris was not traced. (3)
