Full Description

Hoard of 23 plus 17 fragments of silver coins of Henry III found at Messrs Caparn, Hankey and Co in 1881. They were deposited in an upturned jar of light red unglazed wheel-turned ware. The bulk of the coins and the jar were retained by the company. (1) (2)
