Full Description
Lines in field at junction of road and railway just SE of gravel pit. Double ditched rectangular enclosure with rounded corners (this is not clear on SMR plotting). (1) (2)
Cropmarks falls on level ground with a natural surface undulation (through which now runs the railway) to the E; now under short stubble; there are no surface traces of the enclosure and perambulation revealed only modern field debris (inc Victorian glazed ware). The topographical situation and plan of the enclosure suggests Ro influence. (3)
