Ro pottery found in small quantities while cleaning out the Shire Ditch opposite Witham Farm in 1938. (1)
Area centred at above grid ref. Ro pottery found 1938 and c 1948 was in material dredged from stream. Now in NWM. (2)
Ro pottery and a bronze handle (listed as Ro) also found here (gives SK 845516 - not on ditch). (3) No Ro material was found adjacent to the Dyke in this area during investigation; the original pottery found cannot be traced by the museum. Location of bronze handle in NWM. (4)
