Full Description

A leaf-shaped, side-looped bronze spearhead of the Middle BA, was found about 2ft 5in deep, while digging fence holes along the bank of a small stream. (1)
The implement is on loan to Mansfield Museum by Mr JW Churchman of Mansfield Woodhouse. It was found by an employee of the adjacent sausage factory of which Mr Churchman is managing director. Find spot established, as above.(2)
