Full Description

Casual discovery in digging garden of new house on Chesterfield Rd out of Mansfield, within a few feet of road. Gold ring, described as C13 by BM. (1)
Dug up in a garden in Mansfield Woodhouse in 1959 - gold finger ring with a cabochon saphire set with garnets and emeralds at the corners. Not treasure trove. Dated to the C13. (2)
Assumed to be the same item. NB grid ref falls in churchyard.
