APs show series of enclosures linked by linear features and also what appears to be large numbers of pits all over the field. On sand, sand quarried from adjoining gardens. (1)
A wide, straight linear ditch with 2 overlapping enclosures, one double- ditched. Other enclosures nearby, some other linear ditches and a swarm of pits. Possibly a double-ditched ring enclosure in the same field. (1) (2) (3) (4)
Extensive permabulation revealed no surface traces of these cropmarks and only normal field debris was seen on the ground. The farmer can offer no information. (6)
