Full Description
A hoard of about 1300 Ro coins was found in the course of gravel working by Inns and Co. The hoard was deposited in a narrow necked flask of burnished grey ware. It consited of about 950 orthodox issues dating down to AD 354, and over 300 local imitations, mainly of "Fallen Horseman" type. The coins are now in the possession of Mr John Wallace, of Broom Hall Farm, Watton at Stone, Herts. (1)
