Full Description
Middle Pa flint tool found at 4ft 6in, 1956. Levalloisian. (1)
The implement, which was found by Mr FD Lowe, has a frost damaged platform, and is regarded as the most northerly Levalloisian flake tool found in Britain. (2)
The flake has been claimed as Levallois, but has lost the diagnostic features through damage. (4)
In SCM. The indicated find spot, now under grass, is adjacent to the Great Lake, Welbeck. (5)
