Full Description

Ro pottery reported, found 16/05/1952. One piece in NWM. In --/07/1952 over 20 more sherds of Ro pottery found by WL Brown of Wheatholme Farm, South Clifton. Finds now in NWM. (1)
Sherds including colour coated, from Wheatholme Farm. (3)
Mr Brown has now retired to the village of South Clifton; he confirmed the published site and said that only the pottery noted above had been found, no tile or building debris had been noted. The field is now under plough, only normal field debris was seen. (4)
