Full Description
Bronze exhibit No 5 - winged celt resembling Evans 63 from Sunningwell. 5.25in long, 2in wide, 2.25in cutting edge, wings 7/8in across but originally slightly more. Weight 9.5oz. Scrooby. No 14 - bronze socketed axe, wedge shaped, similar to Evans No 150 from Wallingford, Berks, but more elaborately decorated. Length 4 3/8in, greatest width 2 3/8in. Cutting edge 2.5in, weight 7oz. Scrooby. (1)
No further siting evidence for these finds was found during field investigation. They have no accession numbers. (2)
No 5 now carries Acc No 295X, No 14 is 294X. (3)
