Full Description

Parallel fields leading onto large double ditched feature. Also other smaller double ditched features and enclosures. (1)
Cropmarks of a lane with side ditches generally 20 to 25ft wide, but 45ft wide at one point, and various field boundaries, some formed by twin ditches 5.0m apart. (2)
Morph: 105.3.1 Roman Trackway, 105.3.2 Roman field system. (3)
Now destroyed by sand and gravel quarrying. See L 5093 - cropmarks to W, L 5095 - to N. See SMR map - NB does not continue on 79 NW.
