Full Description

SK 741909. Mes type flint flakes found on the edge of the quarry opposite the Cross Keys Hotel (the old sand pit at SK 745906?). (1)
Mr March indicated a more precise find spot at above grid ref. Extensive perambulation produced no archaeological finds. Mr March's material went to NUM. (2)
Flint flakes from the sandhill included cores, blades/flakes, and microliths. (3)
