Full Description

A dupondius of Claudius near crest of Sparken Hill found by workmen erecting a telegraph post (1910). Given by gamekeeper to Mr Silvester. (1)
Mr S Kay is dead. Mr Silvester, who, in 1959, was resident in Cheadle Hume, Cheshire was not contacted, and Worksop Museum have no knowledge of the find. (2)
