Full Description

N of Foss Bridge, Stragglethorpe, in a field adjacent to line of Grantham Canal extensive pottery scatter ranging from late Med to C19. Possibly the dumping ground for house waste collected from Nottingham and transported by barge to these fields. Not dumped within the past 50 years. (1)
