Spellow Hill, (centred at above grid ref) c 1825, OS. Compares to Speller Hill, Aslockton (L5627) - the name means "hill of speech". (1)
No traces of Anglo Saxon remains are known. (2)
No ancient artificial works were noted during perambulation of Spellow Hill, the whole of which is now agricultural land. (3)
