Full Description

A probably C17 farm building. It is built of irregularly coursed stone with mullioned windows and doorways with large stone lintels with rough relieving arches over them. The roof is pantiled. The E end of the building has collapsed in recent years due to subsidence. (See OS photos, with SMR card.) (1)

Single storey survives of original farmhouse, probably C16-early C17. 53ft approx length, c 6 bays, 3 mullioned windows and 1 doorway survive. Building derelict and end collapsing, threatened. (3)
Built in the early 1600s … Timothy Pusey … was living here by 1609. … [c. 1830] was converted into a very plain simple farmhouse. … By mid C20 had deteriorated beyond repair … was demolished. (4)
