Full Description

(SK 674714) Middle BA flanged axe c 15.0cm long, found at NW Hempsall Ltd, Oakham Farm, Forest Lane, Walesby, by workmen of R Woodhead of Edwinstowe. In Mansfield Museum. (1)
Oakham Farm is a restricted experimental station. The senior manager recalled the above find and sited it to above grid ref. It was found "c 4 years ago". (2)
