Full Description
A small barbed and tanged arrowhead, a tranchet arrowhead, 2 scrapers, 3 flints with secondary working, 2 flint cores and 20 flint flakes were found in topsoil removed prior to gravel digging. (1)
Finds held NCM, Accession Nos. NCM 1965-7, NCM 1965-13, NCM 1965-11, NCM 1965-4, NCM 1965-5, 1965-2 and NCM 1965-3. Further objects held at NCM may match up with the 20 flakes described above but identification not certain. (2)
NB OS give SK 517342.
