Full Description

Emergency excavations were carried out in the gravel pit at Attenborough. An early bed of the Erewash was located, filled with clay. Finds from this comprised a small sherd of a Neo bowl with a beaded rim, 3 sherds from the rim of a Neo carinated bowl, a tiny leaf shaped arrowhead of flint, a broken flint scraper, and flint waste.
