Cropmark of a rectangular earthwork, with rounded corner near site of Margidunum. (1) (2)
AP shows a small square earthwork half a mile NE of Margidunum and a few yards E of the Fosse Way. It measures approx 50ft square, and has at least 2 smoothly rounded corners. No surface finds have been made here, and no excavation has taken place. (3)
The mark is almost certainly of modern agricultural origin and is located at above grid ref. (4)
