Full Description

Rectangular earthwork apparent on AP. (1) (2)
Cropmarks on AP have every appearance of being artificial but the OS APs clearly show it to be an eroded and ploughed out flood bank at SK 7990 5748. (3)
This feature, now well ploughed and barely discernable, is on the gentle E facing bank of the Fleet, a former course of the Trent... The field now has a luxurious covering of grass and mustard, and nothing was found. (4)
See L8798 for Ro pottery, L8367 for adjacent cropmark.
Position only on map.
