Full Description

Excavations in garden of 38 Lombard Street - trench 6m x 3m contained series of C18 and C19 pits. No sign of continuation of stone wall in Shipside's garage. Large quantities of P Med finds. (1)
A small excavation 20.0m E of Shipside's garage proved that the wall running through the garage is not part of the town wall and is probably an old property boundary. (2)
